Blue Peter is experienced in the design and deployment of GPON, in particular the Tellabs equipment. The systems engineering of GPON is rather different from the more traditional Layer 2 networks, with a flattening of edge switches, distribution switches and routers into a single layer, and with a need for thoughtful layout of the fiber network and associated splitters.

Blue Peter addresses the systems engineering aspects of GPON as well as its design, deployment, and integration. The result is that our customers gain the full benefit of this major shift in technology, that can greatly reduce the amount of physically deployed hardware and cabling on a site, as well as improving security and simplifying operations.
